Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is a state public university situated in Delhi, India. It is ranked amongst the top universities in India, having been established in 1998 with an ‘A’ grade accreditation by NAAC. GGSIPU provides education in numerous fields such as engineering, technology, management, law, medical, nursing, education, pharmacy, and so on. It has 15 schools and 3 centers with 185 affiliated institutions all over Delhi NCR.

Step 1-For undergraduate programs, the students should have passed their Class 12 or its equivalent from a recognized board with a certain percentage that varies from one program to another. For some programmes such as engineering, minimum 50-60% needed in physics, chemistry and maths.
Step 2-For postgraduate programs, students have to be holders of a related recognized bachelor’s degree with the required minimum percentage from a recognized university. The entry test scores are in demand by some programs.
Step 3-For MPhil and PhD programs, postgraduate qualifications in the relevant field are required with a minimum number of marks. Qualification in entrance exam also demanded in majority of the cases.
Step 4-Diploma and certification courses, qualification for Class 10/12 as per course with requisite percentage. In some cases, relevant work experience may also work.
Step 5-Further eligibility requirements include age ceilings for some programs. Reservation and relaxations in eligibility as per government rules. Just complying with the minimum criteria is not enough for admission.

1. Check Notification – Admissions notifications of GGSIPU are typically released around March/April each year in their official website. Verify the eligibility, dates, programs offered, etc.
2. Registration – Registration on GGSIPU admission portal will be active once it is opened. Furnish all relevant details to generate your login credentials.
3. Application Form - Login and complete the GGSIPU application form in time. Give personal, academic, program preferences and other inquiries.
4. Uploading Documents - Attach scanned copies of essential documents such as photograph, signature, age proof, qualifying exam mark sheets, caste certificate (if applicable) and the like.
5. Application Fee Payment – Make a payment of the application fee online using the payment gateways given. Retain the evidence of fee paid for future records.
6. Slot Booking - Schedule your test center, date and slot for all entrance exams you’ve applied.
7. Entrance Exams - Take the relevant entrance test/s on the due date at the assigned exam centre.
