UPCET is state-level professional exam conducted by the AKTU (Abdul Kalam Technical University) every year, for admission in engineering, architecture, and pharmacy undergraduate and postgraduate courses at AKTU affiliated institutions in Uttar Pradesh. Students have to take the paper-pen mode University Pre engineering entrance test to get admitted to BTech, BArch, BDes, BHMCT, BFAD, BFA, BVoc, MBA, MCA and lateral entry BTech courses. The three sections of UPCET exam are made of multiple choice questions as per Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics class 12 syllabus. The length of the exam is 180 min.
