About TS PGECET 2024
TS PGECET, which stands for Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test, is a state-level entrance exam conducted annually by Osmania University, Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). It is held for admission into ME, MTech, MPharm, and MArch programs offered by various universities and institutes in Telangana.
Introduced in 2015 after the formation of the state, TS PGECET is open for candidates who have a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with at least 50% marks. The exam is conducted in computer-based mode across test centers in Hyderabad, Warangal, Khammam and Nalgonda. It evaluates candidates on their grasp in the respectiveundergraduate engineering discipline. The 2.5 hour exam paper features 120 multiple choice questions carrying one mark each.

TS PGECET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria Details
Nationality Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for TS PGECET 2023.
Domicile Candidates must have a domicile certificate of Telangana state in order to be eligible.
Educational Qualification Candidates must have passed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or institute.
Minimum aggregate marks Candidates must have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree.
Age Limit There is no upper age limit for TS PGECET 2023. However, the minimum age limit is 18 years.
Category Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories will be eligible for relaxation in the qualifying marks and age limit.
TS PGECET Application Form 2024 (Closed)
TS PGECET 2023 application form is closed. The last date to apply for the exam without a late fee was May 5, 2023. The application form could be submitted online through the official website of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).
The application fee for TS PGECET 2023 was Rs. 2500 for General/OC and Rs. 1250 for SC/ST candidates. The application fee could be paid online through the website or by offline payment through demand draft.
