The Foreign Medical Graduation Examination (FMGE) is a screening exam performed by way of the National Examination Board (NBE) in India. It serves as an eligibility criterion for overseas scientific graduates with medical degrees from universities outside India. FMGE goals to ensure that those graduates have the important clinical know-how and abilities to exercise medicinal drug in India.
The FMGE is carried out twice a 12 months and consists of parts: Part A and Part B. Part A assesses applicants in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry and pathology, even as Part B covers microbiology, pharmacology and forensic medicine, assessing understanding about social preventives .
