Uttarakhand State Entrance Exam

UKSEE (United Kingdom State Entrance Examination) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the one and only Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) for admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the state of the United Kingdom. The competition is very tough as numbers of aspirants are more than 1 lakh. 

The UKSEE exam is for judging the students' knowledge of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with that of the 10 +2 level. This is a test with 150 multiple choice questions with 150 to be solved in 150 minutes. Performance excellence in the entrance examination boost an applicant's possibility of admission into recognized programs such as engineering, pharmacy, architecture and others. Affiliated colleges of UTU, such as IIT Roorkee, HNBGU Srinagar, and G.B. Pant University will also offer these programs for successful candidates.

The exam is carried out traditionally in April-May. In 2024 UKSEE is going to be held within the first or second week of May, although the exact dates won’t be known until nearer the time. Exams outcome will be announced within 4 weeks after the exam closure. Demonstrated by the students that pass through counseling process for seat allotment, according to the UKSEE scores they got and their preferences. Consequently, the admission process ends around July whereby classes start beginning of last week of July or the first week of August for the new session.
