Manipal Entrance Test

The Management Entrance Exams is a certification test that is used to verify the admission of students into management schools and business administration programs by various institutions in the country. MET exam, which is conducted by various institute levels, is to judge a candidate's numerical ability, analytical skill, and linguistic skill including knowledge that are needed for managerial studying.

The MET, in its essence, is a paper-based test in which students are assessed in three domains namely numerical ability in which questions such as numbers, percentages, ratios etc. are tested; verbal ability; and general awareness about issues relevant for the business environment and society. The total duration of the MET is usually 2-3 hours.

After that, the individual evaluating know-how is chiefly measured by the MET exam in which institutes announce the results including the scores and percentile secured by applicants. Each institute's cut-offs might differ, the minimum eligibility scores for the exam are fixed. The process of short-listing the candidates ends with a round of group discussions and personal interviews which are used followed to finally admit the candidates.
