Karnataka Common Entrance Test

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for admission into various undergraduate professional courses in the state. KCET offers admissions into engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, veterinary, and other courses across colleges in Karnataka. The test assesses students on physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology subjects through multiple-choice questions.

KCET is considered one of the most competitive entrance exams in India with over 2 lakh students appearing for it every year. The exam is conducted in offline pen-paper based mode across test centers in Karnataka. KEA declares the KCET results in June every year on its official websites - kea.kar.nic.in and karresults.nic.in. Students can check their scorecard and download it online using their registration details.
