Common Admission Test (CAT), is the prominent entrance examination conducted in India by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) for admission in their first-rate two-year PG Programmes, namely the Post Graduate Program (PGP), Post Graduate Program for executives (PGPX), and the Fellow Program in Management (FPM). The CAT score is declined by more than 155 educational institutions across India for entry.

Each year, CAT is held and it is used as means of assessing a candidate's quantitative & data interpretation & logical reasoning ability, as well as his/her verbal ability & reading comprehension skills, and decision making & general awareness. There is a 3-hour paper consists of 100 questions and 3 sections. CAT exam score remains valid and gets one the admissions for the year of exam and the subsequent year. 

CAT 2024 notification that will include all exam dates and other information is scheduled to be released by the middle of July 2023 on the official website. The exam is to be held either in November or December 2024 as an online test covering 158 test cities. The outcome is then announced within three weeks after the examination date. Each shortlisted candidate must apply on their own to a business school of their choice, and sit through the additional rounds of evaluation in the form of group discussion (GD), writing ability test (WAT), and personal interviewing (PI), before being finally admitted.

1. Passport-size Photograph: A recent passport-sized photograph in a specified format and size.

2. Signature: A scanned copy of your signature in the prescribed format.

3. Category Certificate (if applicable): If you belong to a reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PwD), you may need to upload a valid category certificate.

4. Academic Certificates and Mark Sheets: Scanned copies of your academic certificates and mark sheets, including 10th, 12th, and bachelor's degree (if applicable).

5. Work Experience Certificate (if applicable): If you have work experience, you might need to provide a certificate or letter from your employer.

6. Reservation Documents (if applicable): If you are applying under a reserved category, you may need to provide relevant documents for verification.

7. PwD Certificate (if applicable): If you are a Person with Disability (PwD), you may need to upload a valid disability certificate.

8. Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA): Some exams may require you to sign an NDA during the registration process.

CAT 2024 result is expected to be announced in January 2024. The results will be available on the official website of CAT 2023.

The CAT 2023 result will consist of the following details:

• Your overall percentile
• Your percentile in each section
• Your raw score
• Your normalized score

The CAT 2023 result will be used for admission to the MBA programs offered by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other top B-schools in India.
