MHT CET Exam 2024: Eligibility, Syllabus, Exam Date

Maharashtra Health Sciences and Technical Common Entrance Test

The MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra for admission to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy and agriculture degree courses in the state colleges of Maharashtra. The exam consists of multiple choice questions from physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects for PCM group. CET score is used by colleges and institutes to select and admit students. In 2024, over 4.51 lakh students appeared for the MHT CET exam that was held between August 5 to 20 in online mode. 

The result for the 2023 exam is expected to be declared soon. For CET 2024, the exam dates and registration details are yet to be announced by the authorities and will be available by September or October 2023. Once released, the application process for CET 2024 will begin in December 2023 or January 2024. The exam will likely be held in the month of May 2024 through online mode considering the Covid-19 situation. The result will be declared in June 2024 for admissions in same year's academic session in various colleges across Maharashtra.
