BIT in MCA - the Postgraduate Entrance Exam - conducted by BIT centers in different cities to select eligible candidates for its MCA program. The goal of BIT MCA Examination is to evaluate the intellectual capability, analytical reasoning, aptitude in mathematics, communication skills, and general knowledge of the candidate. Instead of traditional paper-based exam, our exam is conducted via the website/online as a computer-based test. The duration of the total paper is 2 hours and the question paper consists of 60 multiple-choice questions, with five sections carrying one mark each, but with no negative marking.
The MCA scored BIT results are valid for one year. The scores of the candidates will be the basis of those who shall be called for interviews and ultimately get selected for the admission. There comes the information that BIT will strictly put out its notice in August-September 2023 in order to commence the application process of the MCA batch of 2024. Provisional dates of the entrance exams are between December 2023 and January 2024. The appointment is supposed to be made within one-two weeks after the management test. Candidates that made it through will attend counseling by February-March in 2024, the session will begin in July-August in 2024 With the priority being given to merit, preferences and seats availability, the admission will be need-based.

- 10th and 12th standard mark sheets and certificates: There are attested copies of your 10th, 12th, and mark sheet submitted (these ones).
- Graduation degree certificate: If you are an external candidate applying for the 2nd year in MCA under the lateral entry scheme, then you have to submit a photocopy of your graduation degree certificate and mark sheets duly attested by the competent authority. Based on this particular case, it may not be an entrance exam requirement.
- Valid ID proof: You need to upload a copy of a government approved document as photo ID proofs like Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving License, Passport etc.
- Recent passport size photographs: The number of photocopy pictures that you should enclose is also needed (approximately four to six) as passport size.
- Caste certificate (if applicable): If you are applying from reserved categories like ST/SC/OBC class, you must submit your valid caste certificate stating to having been issued by appropriate authority.
- BIT MCA Entrance Test score card: Alongside you either have to obtain and submit a MAT/CMAT valid score card, or you can appear in BIT's own MCA entrance exam. The entrance test is often conducted on April/May by BIT (BIT).
- No Objection Certificate: If you are already employed and need to be NOC, you will have to submit this document along with your application.
