MAHARASHTRA COMMON ENTRANCE TEST LAW

Mocet for the Maharashtra State is the abbreviated form of MH CET LAW. It offers LLB 3 years and 5 years programmes at various law colleges in the state of Maharashtra. The test is organized by the GMCT (Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell). CET LAW assumes candidates to possess a graduate degree, leaving aside the field of studies (35% marks). There has also been certain discrimination criteria especially in terms of residence. 

MH CET LAW test contains the objective type multiple choice questions in the form of a test paper in which logic and general knowledge, legal aptitude and English language proficiency are evaluated. Exam procedure has 5 sections in total and there are 200 questions with 120 minutes to be solved. There are not any negative markings too. The candidate is qualified to Apply for admission on the basis of Percentile Score obtained overall which higher percentile means higher level of Rank preference. 

The exam of MH CET  LAW is conducted in the month of May every year and the result is published in the next month.
