JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research), which is regarded as one of the most popular medical entrance examinations in India, is carried out annually with a view to offering MBBS or BDS course admissions in its campuses, situated at Puducherry, Karaikal or Gorakhpur. The NIFT national level entrance exam is conducted in academics as the source of admission in pen and paper mode for the aptitude based admissions at the entrance examination stage.
The examination aims to determine if a student is familiar with physics, chemistry and biology up to 12th grade level as well as he or she is able to speak English and to exercise logical & quantitative reasoning skills via the objective multiple choice tests. Candidate registration is expected to start by January 2024 through the official website jipmer.edu.in and it is likely that the entrance date will be on the first week of June 2024.
Just after the completion of the online entrance exam, firstly JIPMER publishes the answer key along with recorded responses and then tentatively declares the results and the final merit list after expert verification. The medical examination and counseling session are the final dosages of the medical health screening.
