West Bengal NEET Counselling

West Bengal NEET state counselling is conducted with the purpose of provision of the seats for eligible students in MBBS & BDS courses at medical and dental colleges of West Bengal. It is conducted by West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) and NEET provisional allotment which  are declared after National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) results. The counselling process is about registration, filling in preferences, seat allocation, submission of fees and reporting to the preferred college. 

NEET is the common entrance exam of India which is meant to be a common qualifying test for admission into MBBS or BDS courses throughout the country. Following the usual tradition, in 2023 NEET will be conducted on May 7th by the agency known as NTA which is National Testing Agency. After the NEET exam, the result should be out in the end of June 2023 The process of West Bengal NEET counselling will be opened to the students who got qualified in NEET and applied for admission in West Bengal next.

It is more likely that the NEET exam for 2024 will be conducted this coming May, although the exact date is as yet unknown by the NTA. The result of NEET in 2024 will be published for those students who are qualified for the same. In the next step, they will participate in West Bengal NEET counselling so that they can get admission into medical and dental colleges of their state for the session of 2024-25. The exact timetable of the counselling process will be circulated by (name of the university) before the start of the counselling.
