SAJEE (South Asian Joint Entrance Examination) is a common engineering admission examination done for getting enrolled in various undergraduate engineering programs in South Asian regions including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Launched in 2022 SAJEE aims to provide a single web-based interface for students to apply to multiple colleges across South Asia. This is similar to SAT exams which ensure quality and save time for both students and colleges.
Students aptities in physics, chemistry and mathematics are scrutinised through the test. It involves 180 multiple-choice questions per subject. Grouping it in three different subjects. Students are allowed to work on this test for 180 minutes. The fair rule of negative marking of 20% of marks for every wrong answer safeguards students against incorrect answers to a few questions. Finally, SAEJE test ouput comprises of percentile scores of all the subject areas and total percentile score out of 100.
The candidate should have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Diploma or B.Sc in the relevant discipline.
MBA
Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Graduation. Candidates appearing in Final Year can also apply. Such candidates will have to produce the final year result of Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate on or before 15th August or date communicated by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) failing which their provisional admission will be automatically cancelled.
BBA/BCA
The candidate should have a minimum of 45% aggregate marks from a recognized board council. SC/ST candidates from Haryana are relaxed to a minimum of 42.5% aggregate marks.
B.Tech
The candidate should have a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology/ Computers from any recognized board.
