SAJEE (South Asian Joint Entrance Examination) is a common engineering admission examination done for getting enrolled in various undergraduate engineering programs in South Asian regions including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Launched in 2022 SAJEE aims to provide a single web-based interface for students to apply to multiple colleges across South Asia. This is similar to SAT exams which ensure quality and save time for both students and colleges.
Students aptities in physics, chemistry and mathematics are scrutinised through the test. It involves 180 multiple-choice questions per subject. Grouping it in three different subjects. Students are allowed to work on this test for 180 minutes. The fair rule of negative marking of 20% of marks for every wrong answer safeguards students against incorrect answers to a few questions. Finally, SAEJE test ouput comprises of percentile scores of all the subject areas and total percentile score out of 100.
The candidate should have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Diploma or B.Sc in the relevant discipline.
MBA
Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Graduation. Candidates appearing in Final Year can also apply. Such candidates will have to produce the final year result of Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate on or before 15th August or date communicated by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) failing which their provisional admission will be automatically cancelled.
BBA/BCA
The candidate should have a minimum of 45% aggregate marks from a recognized board council. SC/ST candidates from Haryana are relaxed to a minimum of 42.5% aggregate marks.
B.Tech
The candidate should have a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology/ Computers from any recognized board.

Application Start Date
The SAJEE 2023 application form will be available online on the official website of the SBTE, Punjab from 4th May 2023 to 15th June 2023.

The last date to submit the SAJEE 2023 application form is 15th June 2023.

Application Fee
The application fee for the SAJEE 2023 is Rs. 1,000 for the General category and Rs. 500 for the SC/ST/PH category. The application fee can be paid online through debit card, credit card, or net banking.

Admit Card Release Date
The admit card for the SAJEE 2023 will be released on the official website of the SBTE, Punjab on 25th June 2023.

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded to the candidates who have scored the highest marks in the SAJEE 2023. The scholarship amount is Rs. 1 lakh per year.

Sports Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded to the candidates who have represented the state or country in any sports discipline. The scholarship amount is Rs. 50,000 per year.

Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded to the candidates who belong to the EWS category. The scholarship amount is Rs. 25,000 per year.

SC/ST/PH Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded to the candidates who belong to the SC/ST/PH category. The scholarship amount is Rs. 15,000 per year.
