Mahatma Gandhi University Common Admission Test

Maharaja Gangan Singh University Common Admission Test (MGU CAT) is university level entrance test conducted by Maharaja Ganga Singh University Bikaner for admissions into courses for undergraduate and postgraduate programs at University and its affiliated colleges. MGU CAT is above all a computer-based standardized test to evaluate logical reasoning, ability in quantitative analysis, data interpretation & sufficiency, competency in English language and knowledge on general awareness among the applicants. The test is only taken annually. Normally, it is conducted in May or June.

Test time is 2 hours and the assessment is composed of 100 multiple choice objective-type questions, distributed in 5 sections with 1 mark for each and no negative mark for incorrect answers. All the points are also declared in one month after conduction of the tests through official website, this is where candidates get their overall percentile score and sectional cut-offs. Every year university MGU CAT is officially announced in mid-December and the last date to submit the application form is enforced in March for the exam in May/June. Although the dates and schedule of the MGU CAT 2024 exam will likely be made known on the University website by November 2023, based on past experiences, the announcement may be done earlier.
