The Management Aptitude Test, whose abbreviated name is MAT, is a standardized test, which is followed by admissions in to different management programs into different business schools and universities in India. The MAT is carried out by AIMA / All India Management Association which conducts the primary exam four times in a year. The MAT exam basically assesses a candidate’s ability to analyze and think logically and quickly through the given problems. The exam is designed to measure both verbal and quantitative skills along with the required general knowledge which is needed for the management career.
For the MAT exams 2024, the administrator has planned to hold them in February, May, September and December. The sponsored test lasts 150 minutes, whilst the computer-based test takes 2 hours. MAT has five sections with 400 numbers in total. The exams will measure applicant's just like analytics skills, capacity to deal with figures, language understanding, data analysis, interpreting and intelligence in order to meet the needs of business management. The MAT results are, usually, shared in 7 to 10 days from the date of the test. The mark is obtained by the statistical percentage calculation of an average score and the number of contester. Students with a good percentiel will qualify for the admission to the Master of Management programmes available in different M-schools and universities in India which accept the MAT scores.
