The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a test which is straightforward, and being it standardized, it is used for admission purposes by universities in India for management programs. The assessment process is run by All India Management Association (AIMA). MAT is the abbreviation for Management Aptitude Test, which sums up the purpose of the evaluation.

MAT assesses the competency of the examines including the following attributes: vocabulary comprehension, the skill of handling mathematical issues, analysis and interpretation of data, deduction and general knowledge. The exam is conducted in a computer-based test mode where there are 200 multiple choice questions to be solved in the time frame of 150 minutes. In the framework of MAT, testing is carried out 4 times a year: in February, May, September, and at the end of the year.

The information from the MAT test that was conducted in December 2023 is in our possession now. This time, there is a new updated test that embodies the latest tendencies in the field of management. The texts used in the test are drawn from R.S. Aggarwal’s books on Aptitude. The AIMA released the MAT exam schedule for 2024 a few days back - first session on February 12th 2024 at the earliest. From the fall of 2024 in May, September and December, other events will follow.

Documents Required For MAT Exam Registration 2024

1. Personal Details: You will need to provide authentic self- identification including name, birthday, gender, email, mobile phone number, etc.

2. Qualification Details: Details including the name of your qualifying degree( BSc, BA, B.Ed) are required like the course details, year of passing and percentage/CGPA obtained

3. Scanned Photo and Signature: An electronic copy of your recently captured passport size photo and signature are to be uploaded in the specified format. 

4. Address Proof: Go for it with your original photo ID like Aadhaar card/voter's ID/driving license/passport having your address mentioned at the back side. This is to provide authentication for the reasons mentioned.

5. Educational Documents: Documents in the category of eligibility to apply for the admission can comprise of - 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates, graduation degree certificate (if the college is already attained).

6. Caste Certificate: If you want to apply through reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC-NCL), you should attach a caste/community certificate (issued by competent authority).  

7. Payment Details: The registration fees can be facilitated online through net banking or other means i.e. debit/credit card or any available payment mode.
