The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a test which is straightforward, and being it standardized, it is used for admission purposes by universities in India for management programs. The assessment process is run by All India Management Association (AIMA). MAT is the abbreviation for Management Aptitude Test, which sums up the purpose of the evaluation.
MAT assesses the competency of the examines including the following attributes: vocabulary comprehension, the skill of handling mathematical issues, analysis and interpretation of data, deduction and general knowledge. The exam is conducted in a computer-based test mode where there are 200 multiple choice questions to be solved in the time frame of 150 minutes. In the framework of MAT, testing is carried out 4 times a year: in February, May, September, and at the end of the year.
The information from the MAT test that was conducted in December 2023 is in our possession now. This time, there is a new updated test that embodies the latest tendencies in the field of management. The texts used in the test are drawn from R.S. Aggarwal’s books on Aptitude. The AIMA released the MAT exam schedule for 2024 a few days back - first session on February 12th 2024 at the earliest. From the fall of 2024 in May, September and December, other events will follow.
