Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test

TANCET actually means Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test. This is held as an annual test conducted by the Anna University on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Government each year. The test is conducted to help candidates pursuing MBA, MCA, MTech, MA, MArch and MPlan degree programs in various universities in Tamilnadu. 

The objective of TANCET test is to measure the skills of the student in the fields such as quantitative ability, logical reasoning, general awareness and language comprehension that are the cornerstones and prerequisites to pursue an MBA degree in Management Studies, MCA degree in Computer Applications, ME in Engineering and MA/MArch degree in Architecture. The test is held in the physical environment with answer booklet and pen. 

TANCET 2024 examination  dates is yet to be published by Anna University. Nevertheless, the nature of the TANCET exam is such that it is to be held in the month of May of next year. Registration process generally starts a few weeks before the examination date. The dates of when the TANCET 2024 results will be available has not yet been announced; however, it is likely that they will be available within a month post the exam.

The consequence will include the scores of the candidate in each section and overall percentile mark was obtained by the candidate. Respecting the scores of the students and preferences, they are eligible for admission to different universities and colleges in Tamil Nadu, for the academic batch of 2024-2026, that have the affiliation of TANCET.
