ITM National Entrance and Scholarship Test

National Entrance and Scholarship Test (NEST), conducted by ITM Group of Institutions through computer-based mode is ITM's entrance examination for admission to B.Tech Degree, through which candidates will be shortlisted. Is one among the most highly regarded universities’ eligibility entrance exams, particularly in central and northern states of the country. NEST exam covers students' intellectual ability, their reasoning skills and language proficiency level. India is targeting to develop education through the improvements in these parameters. The NEST (NEQUIP Skill Test) scores and the cut-offs of the programs determine whether the student could get admission into programs like engineering, management, law, design, agriculture and other courses that are offered in the ITM campuses. 

ITM will disclose the exact dates of the NEST exam by the late 2023. Generally, the exam is organized in the months of April and May at the centers, known as the centers of conduction. In a record set in 2023, more than 1.3 lakh students appeared the NEST exam. Once the test is completed now ITM publishes the NEST answer key in the form of all subjects on its website. The NEST results come out between 10-15 days after the exams got finished. The admissions and scholarships purposes are among the many purposes for which the test scores serve. the year validity of NEST score is one year. The NEST exam is a hurdle that students must pass through and a high rank in it may land students admission into their preferred program of ITM along with enticing scholarships.

ITM NEST 2024 Counselling Process

Step Description
Step 1: Registration The candidates who qualify the exam will have to register for the counselling process. The registration will be done online.
Step 2: Choice Filling After registration, the candidates will have to fill their choices for the B.Tech. programs offered by ITM University Gwalior. The choice filling will be done online.
Step 3: Seat Allotment The seat allotment will be done based on the merit of the candidates and their choices. The seat allotment will be done online.
Step 4: Document Verification The candidates who have been allotted seats will have to verify their documents at the designated centres.
Step 5: Admission The candidates who have successfully verified their documents will be admitted to the B.Tech. programs offered by ITM University Gwalior.

ITM NEST 2024 Eligibility

MFA in Painting & Sculpture The candidate should have a UG Degree with a minimum 50% aggregate.
PG Diploma in Mobile Journalism & Social Journalism The aspirant should have completed Graduation with 50% marks.
LLB Graduation in any stream with 45% minimum aggregate.
BJMC Candidate with a minimum of 50% marks in Graduation.
B.Tech/ B.Tech [Hons.] in Civil, Mechanical, ECE, EE, CSE, IT, Automobile, Agricultural, Petroleum Engineering. The candidate should have obtained an aggregate of more than 50% marks in 10+2 (Maths stream).
BA LLB [Hons.]/ B.Com LLB [Hons.] Candidate with a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2.
Diploma in Anesthesia Technician/Anaesthesia Technician The candidate should have done 10+2 with PCB with at least 50% marks.
PGDCA The candidate should be a graduate in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks.
Integrated Program [B.Tech+MBA/M.Tech] in Mechanical, Civil, ECE, CSE] The candidate should have obtained an aggregate of more than 65% marks in 10+2 (Maths stream).
M.Lib.I.Sc The candidate should have done B.Lib.I.Sc after UG/PG with at least 50% marks.
B.Optom The candidate should have passed 10+2 in PCB/PCM with a minimum of 50% marks.
Certificate in Operation Theatre Technician  The candidate should have done 10+2 with PCB with at least 50% marks.
MBA (Supply Chain & Logistics Management/Financial Markets/Agri-Business/Hospital Management/Dual Specialization) Candidates should have done UG/PG with 50% marks.
LLM in Criminal Law/Constitutional Law Graduation in Law with more than 50% aggregate.
B.Sc in Interior Design/Fashion Design The candidate should have qualified 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 40% aggregate.
B.Sc [Hons.] in Biomedical Science The candidate should have passed 10+2 in PCB with a minimum of 50% marks.
