AP LAWCET (Andhra Pradesh Law Competitive Examination) is the state level exam organized by Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur on behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education) for candidates seeking to pursue 3 years as well as 5 years LLB courses from various government and non-government colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh The exam involves questions based on objective type and those are aimed at ascertain an applicant's general knowledge, analytical aptitude, and aptitude towards the legal career.
AP LAWCET is conducted once a year, in some months of May or June. Exam results are usually available within a fortnight of the exam. To pass the exam, students have to gain grades above the standard mark as stipulated by the university.
