AP LAWCET (Andhra Pradesh Law Competitive Examination) is the state level exam organized by Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur on behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education) for candidates seeking to pursue 3 years as well as 5 years LLB courses from various government and non-government colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh The exam involves questions based on objective type and those are aimed at ascertain an applicant's general knowledge, analytical aptitude, and aptitude towards the legal career.
AP LAWCET is conducted once a year, in some months of May or June. Exam results are usually available within a fortnight of the exam. To pass the exam, students have to gain grades above the standard mark as stipulated by the university. The basis of seat allotment is depended on the candidates' AP LAWCET scores and the preferences, and the online counseling is held round. For the 2024 student candidates, the official dates of the exam have not been announced. But as a tradition, the exam usually comes out in either the first or second week of June 2024. The expected results will be made public by the last week of June after which the admission process will be undertaken in the month of July. As for the notifications on which centers to use, who is eligible to sit for the exam, as well as the syllabus and the exam patterns, they will be announced at least two months before taking the exam.
