The Maharashtra Law CET or MH CET LAW stands for Maharashtra Combined Entrance Test for Law, a state-level entrance examination conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra for admission into 3 year and 5 Year LLB programs offered by various government and private colleges located in Maharashtra. The exam consists of at least a couple of aptitude tests, reasoning ability test, comprehension skills test featuring reading part, and exercises on legal aptitude and general awareness. The examination is conducted in a single session once a year during April/May. The paper scheme contains objective questions, separated into sections: Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge along with Current Affairs and English Language.
The scope is broadened to an extreme extent as the number of candidates sitting for the exam every year exceeds 60,000. The competition is tough. We are supposed to receive the results from MH CET LAW 2024 that are scheduled by the third week of June 2024 and are supposed to be found on the official website – cetcell.mahacet.org. Selected candidates as a result, take part in the process of counselling for seat allocation in the colleges they chose, as per the rules of merit, reservation, and personal preferences, as well as the availability of seats. Most probably the detailed application of MH CET LAW-2024 will start from the month of February in year 2024.
