The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for admission into various undergraduate professional courses in the state. KCET offers admissions into fields like engineering, agriculture, veterinary sciences, pharmacy, etc offered by universities and colleges across Karnataka. The first phase of seat allotment is based on the merit of the candidates and their choices. The seat allotment results will be announced online.

3rd Phase
The third phase of seat allotment is for the candidates who have not been allotted seats in the first or second phase. The seat allotment will be done based on the merit of the candidates and their choices, as well as the availability of seats.
4th Phase
The fourth phase of seat allotment is for the candidates who have not been allotted seats in the first, second, or third phase. The seat allotment will be done based on the merit of the candidates and their choices, as well as the availability of seats.
5th Phase (if required)
The fifth phase of seat allotment is for the candidates who have not been allotted seats in the first, second, third, or fourth phase. The seat allotment will be done based on the merit of the candidates and their choices, as well as the availability of seats.

Description
Number of choices
Candidates can fill a maximum of 100 choices.
Priority of choices
The choices must be filled in the order of preference.
Change of choices
Candidates can change their choices up to the last date of choice filling.
Allotment of seat
The seat will be allotted to the candidate based on the merit of the candidate and the choices filled.
Cancellation of seat
If a candidate cancels the allotted seat, the seat will be offered to the next eligible candidate in the merit list.
Reporting to the college
The candidate must report to the allotted college within the stipulated time.
