UPCEE (the Uttar Pradesh Common Entrance Test) is an entrance test conducted at the state level by the Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh, for admission in various undergraduate and postgraduate programs of Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, and Computer Application courses. The UPCET is generally done in June of every year which happens as a pen-paper written test in different exam centers in UP and other neighbouring areas. Accordingly for the year 2024 of UPCET, exam dates are scheduled in the second with thrid week of June 2024.
There are two examinations on UPCET. The first paper is for admission into B.Tech/B.Pharm/BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/MBA(Integrated) courses and in the second paper, the candidates are screened for MBA/MCA courses. Exp. Time is 3 hours and there are combined questions in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Aptitude. So the paper lasts for 3 hours and there are mixed questions in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Aptitude. An announcement is going to be made on last week of June 2024 by www.upcet.nic.in which is the official website. Only the candidates who attain the expected cut-off marks will be included in the first merit list, which plays an important role in the selection process. Counseling will be conducted in four rounds, scheduled till third week of July 2024, after mere five days of argument.
