The IPU CET (Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test) is an entrance exam conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by its affiliated colleges in Delhi. It is a computer-based entrance test held 3 times a year – in May, June, and July. IPU CET is conducted for various subjects like engineering, law, management, mass communication, dental, and pharmacy. The exam pattern consists of multiple-choice questions testing logical reasoning, English proficiency, and knowledge of the subject area.
Based on marks scored in IPU CET, separate merit lists are prepared for different courses and participating colleges. The results of IPU CET are generally declared within a week of the exam. For admissions in 2024, the tentative exam dates will be announced by the University soon but it is most likely that the exams will follow a similar schedule and be held in May 15-30, June 10-29 and July 10-27 for the academic batch of 2024-29 with the results expected soon after each test phase.

Pass in B.Tech or equivalent with minimum 55% marks for General category and 50% marks for reserved categories.

Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with 45% marks.
MCA
Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry or Computer Science. Minimum aggregate of 60% marks for General category and 55% marks for reserved categories.
B.Pharm
Pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Minimum aggregate of 50% marks for General category and 45% marks for reserved categories.
B.Arch
Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Minimum aggregate of 50% marks for General category and 45% marks for reserved categories.
BDS
Pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Minimum aggregate of 50% marks for General category and 45% marks for reserved categories.
