GATE Counselling 2024

• COAP: This is the counselling process for admission to IITs. Candidates who have qualified in GATE 2023 can apply for COAP. The counselling process is conducted online through the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP).
• CCMT: This is the counselling process for admission to NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs. Candidates who have qualified in GATE 2023 can apply for CCMT. The counselling process is also conducted online through the Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. (CCMT) website.

COAP

1. Go to the COAP website: https://coap.iitkgp.ac.in/
2. Click on the "Register" button.
3. Enter your GATE 2023 registration number and GATE score.
4. Enter your personal details, such as your name, email address, and mobile number.
5. Upload your photograph and signature.
6. Pay the registration fee.
7. Submit your application.

CCMT

1. Go to the CCMT website: https://ccmt.nic.in/
2. Click on the "Register" button.
3. Enter your GATE 2023 registration number and GATE score.
4. Enter your personal details, such as your name, email address, and mobile number.
5. Upload your photograph and signature.
6. Pay the registration fee.
7. Submit your application.

Detailed GATE Counselling Process 2024 through CCMT

• Counselling process: The counselling process for GATE 2023 through CCMT is conducted online. Candidates who have qualified in GATE 2024 can participate in the counselling process.

• Eligibility: To be eligible for GATE 2024 counselling through CCMT, candidates must have:

  • Qualified in GATE 2024.
  • Passed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in aggregate.

• Application Process:

  • The application process for GATE 2024 counselling through CCMT will be conducted online through the CCMT portal.
  • The application process will open in June 2024 and close in July 2024.
  • Candidates will need to upload their GATE 2024 scorecard, passport-size photograph, and signature as part of the application process.

• Schedule: The schedule for GATE 2024 counselling through CCMT is as follows.

• • Candidates will be allotted seats based on their GATE 2023 score, academic performance, and choices.
  • The seat allotment will be done in a round-robin format.
  • Candidates who are allotted seats will need to pay a seat acceptance fee and report to the institute.
  • Candidates who are not allotted seats in any of the rounds will be placed on a waiting list.

Documents Required for GATE 2024 Counselling

• GATE 2024 scorecard: This is the most important document required for GATE 2024 counselling. You will need to upload a scanned copy of your GATE 2024 scorecard in the CCMT portal.
• Passport-size photograph: You will need to upload a scanned copy of your passport-size photograph in the CCMT portal.
• Signature: You will need to upload a scanned copy of your signature in the CCMT portal.
• Proof of identity: You will need to upload a scanned copy of a document that proves your identity, such as your passport, driver's license, or voter ID card.
• Proof of residence: You will need to upload a scanned copy of a document that proves your residence, such as your Aadhaar card, voter ID card, or rent agreement.
