The NEET PG- National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate- is the assessment for the students who have successfully completed MBBS and want to pursue postgraduate medical studies, like MD, MS or PG Diploma. The NEET conducted by the National Board of Examinations, plays the pivotal role of the only country wide medical entrance test for over 6,500 PG Diploma and MD/MS seats across the government medical colleges and the private educational institutions. 

The NEXT POST is an online test of 300 multiple choice questions that measures medical graduates on knowledge of subjects such as internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, preventive and social medicine, pediatrics and surgery. It take place usually in January or February of the year. A prerequisite for writing NEET PG examination is having a MBBS degree certificate registered either permanently or provisionally by the Indian Medical Council or State Medical Council. At the beginning of April, the final results get announced. Further builds the process by which students are assessed on the basis of their scores as well as their preferences, and then take part in counseling rounds to get their PG seats. The PG admissions for 2024 are estimated to be conducted via NEET PG 2024 exam in January 2024, and accordingly, the results can be expected at the end of January 2024 or early February 2024.
