Common Entrance Examination for Design

The IIT Bombay cumulatively organizes the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) every year at a national-level for superseding the eligibility of prospective candidates into Master of Design (M.Des.) programs across the country. The test is supposed to measure a candidate's performance in design, his knowledge of it, and skills in creative thinking. It consists of two sections namely Part A and Part B. Another part of the test with which, we will proceed to evaluate special areas such as industrial design, visual communication, animation, interaction design, mobility and vehicle design, and human factors and ergonomics is through discipline-specific queries. To clarify, the score determined by the CEED Exam is used by more than 20 organisations including the IITs and the NITs for the admission of the students in their design programs.
