The common exam for design (CEED) offered by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay is a national level entrance exam targeted at admissions to the Master of Design (MDes) programs in different specializations like Industrial Design, Visual Communication, Animation, Interaction Design, Transport Design, and so on. The Indian Institute of Technology's (IITs) and the participating institutes offer these programs. The assessments evaluate the pictorial capacity including ability of visual perception, drawing, creativity, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills of the candidate.
Mostly, the drawing test gets a total score of 35-40% and, Material Measuring Test, Spatial Ability test, Abstract Reasoning Test, and Creativity test are given a total score of 60-65%. Results of CEED 2023 are set for declaration in the 3rd week of March, 2023. The date when CEED 2024 exam will be held yet to be told by the authorities but likely that the exam will be hold in the second half of January 2024.
