Design Courses offer an introductory socialization to different types of design and approach. The required basic principles of graphic design, industrial design, fashion, interior design, and several other designing courses are taught to the students. The curriculums include design history, color and material design, drawing and digital design tools, materials and user experience, and design thinking and execution process. The project-based assignments came out as a great technique that enabled the students to practice branding, typography, layout, CAD, model making, sewing, and presentation building. These courses are suitable for complete novices in design or for professional designers who might want to broaden their skills and knowledge – all these courses are designed to develop creativity and to guide the learners through the fundamental principles and practices of effective and engaging design for various industries and markets.

Other related courses, such as architecture, photography, art, and marketing, provide foundational skills that support the primary career of a design professional. However, there are some basic introductory classes that do not have any pre-requisites of prior courses while most of the advanced and intermediate level courses have some general pre-requisites that one need to have prior knowledge of the basics of that particular field or stream. Students are encouraged to first complete basic designs before specializing in their field. Design courses are friendly to the current generation of learners since they come in a flexible mode of study depending on the days, time, or even online classes, and this is for people of all ages interested in expanding or even building on their creativity. Provision and requirements of the given course depend on the level and the subject of each course.
