VITMEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Master's Entrance Examination) is a test that was established by Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) and this is a higher learning centre situated in Tamil Nadu, a state in the country of India. This is solely be conducted to entry to various master's degree courses which are offered by the university such as M.Tech, MSc, MCA and MBA. The purpose of the exam is to discover the first round pass candidates. First of all, they should have the ability of analytical thinking and the domain knowledge required for postgraduate programs.
The exam is held during a fixed time period on the internet with computer based test. Discipline-wise admission tests are given and each candidate can take as many tests as can be required for the discipline (s) they are seeking admission to. It is a routine exam that takes place each and every year and in between 1st-2nd May. The particular exam dates has not been announced till date by VIT university for the year 2024. For 23 admissions into academic year 2023, the exam took between 23rd April - 1st May. Test results are published in a month at most after the test. The second stage is the counseling sessions where selected candidates have to attend in the centers located throughout the nation. The students are allocated to their seats on the basis of discipline choice, category program and merit list. The seats are also based on availability. Least a last – the final payment of fees – is a step that gets the student admitted.
