VITMEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Master's Entrance Examination) is a test that was established by Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) and this is a higher learning centre situated in Tamil Nadu, a state in the country of India. This is solely be conducted to entry to various master's degree courses which are offered by the university such as M.Tech, MSc, MCA and MBA. The purpose of the exam is to discover the first round pass candidates. First of all, they should have the ability of analytical thinking and the domain knowledge required for postgraduate programs. 

The exam is held during a fixed time period on the internet with computer based test. Discipline-wise admission tests are given and each candidate can take as many tests as can be required for the discipline (s) they are seeking admission to. The students are allocated to their seats on the basis of discipline choice, category program and merit list. The seats are also based on availability. Least a last – the final payment of fees – is a step that gets the student admitted.

The VITMEE Seat Allotment Fee 2024 is expected to be the same as the previous year, which is INR 10,000. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid by all candidates who are allotted seats in the VITMEE counselling process.

What to do After VITMEE Seat Allotment 2024?

1. Check the seat allotment result online: When the official seat allotment list is published on VIT web site after the counselling, VIT which is the official counseling round will be able to know the allotted seats. Search your name, the assigned institute, and the course you have taken out.

2. Pay seat acceptance fee: Students can go for either the online payment or demand draft payment within the specified time to confirm their acceptance of the seat. This confirms your admission.

3. Download admission letter: Once you go through the payment process, then the provisional admission letter is ready to be downloaded at the website.

4. Report at the allotted institute: On the assigned date, stand at the assigned VIT campus with all your required documents such as admit card, result copy, and seat allotment letter. You will get your documents checked and proceed to registrations.

5. Submit original documents and pay balance fees: Submit your 10th/12th marksheets which are original and also show the community certificates is they are applicable. Pay the remaining fees as per the fee structure. Complete all enrollment formalities.  

6. Attend classes: Having a gauntlet approved, commence regular classes for your course schedule at VIT following the academic calendar. Now, the train of thought of VITMEE counseling comes to a temporary halt.
