The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) is conducted every year by VIT University to offer admissions into various B.Tech programs across its Vellore, Chennai, Amaravati and Bhopal campuses. To be eligible for VITEEE 2024, the applicant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent level of education with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates appearing for 10+2 level exams in 2024 can also apply, subject to meeting the final eligibility criteria after results are declared. There are no age limit criteria for VITEEE.

The minimum aggregate percentage required in 10+2 level exams is 60% for general category students and 55% for SC/ST candidates. The total marks and aggregate percentage will be calculated based on the best 4 or 5 subjects in the qualifying exam, including compulsory subjects. Applicants' date of birth as recorded in their 10th standard mark sheet/certificate will be considered final for determining their eligibility. Overall, meeting the basic 10+2 qualification criteria with compulsory subjects and minimum marks are essential to be eligible to appear in VITEEE 2024 for admissions into various B.Tech programs offered at VIT University campuses.
