1. 10+2 /equivalent marks - Students must have scored their minimum of 60% ( or equivalent grade) in the final year of their secondary education (10+2 /equivalent). Apart from these, classification of students on the basis CBSE, ICSE, IB, and state boards scores is also common.

2. Entrance exam scores - The students get admission into our engineering college on the basis of the scores they secure in the SRMJEEE entrance exam. Students will be selected if they meet the cut-off score that is just above their SRMJEEE rank/percentile. We can take the other path where valid marks obtained in JEE Main may also be contemplated.

3. SRM has set a specific criterion, and applicants who are eligible according to their performance at class 12th and the entrance exam will be called for interview. Interview results and general presentation will also count, and they will be taken into account during the candidate making.

4. Co-curricular and non-curricular Activities - Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities which are participated and achievements for such will be taken into account. They might get involved in the activities of different clubs, like sports, performing arts, social initiatives, or creative projects etc.

1. Select the SRM admission portal in your internet browser and register yourself: create a login ID and a password.

2. Click the program you wish to apply for - B.Tech. The third step holds the selection of the major/specialization, campus location etc.

3. Fill in all the necessary data of personal details ( name , address etc.), academics and entrance exam scores in the application form.

4. Submit scanned imaged of the required documents. That includes portrait, signatures, educational certificates, etc. as per the guidelines.

5. Pay for the application fee in an online way through either net banking, debit or credit card methods.

6. Read them well and make sure that all information is true. Then you should send them. Make sure to get the number of application.

7. In case, you get shortlisted then you will be given a call for counseling where in-person presence, and participation in the counseling process for seat allocation is required.

8. Select the admission program and then complete the formalities by making fee payment and submitting the due documents within the allotted time.
