Eligibility:
- B.Sc. or approved qualification of an accredited institution with a minimum grade of 55% (50% for SC/ST candidates).
- In the national/state level exams like for CSIR-NET, GATE , getting good marks may be necessary for some programs.

- Admission to these institutions is done on the grounds of a national level entrance examination conducted by NITs and CFTIs. Joint exams like GATE, JEST, JAM, among many others, are also conducted. In that case, some departments may use an additional individualized entrance exam too.
- The candidates should have been graduated with a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline meeting the specified minimum percentage which is also relative to the category. Here is it provides 60% or 65% for upper class.
- Selection is done using entrance exam outcomes and scores of a degree program. Specific weight is put by this average in examination score and academics.
- Some departments also have assembled personal interviews or tests which will be used to frame the final merit list.

1. Check the eligibility criteria: Sufficiently, match the standards of an academic program and critical percentage for that particular M.Sc. Semester you are applying for the course which you would like to enroll into. Programs like M.Sc. Physical Sciences, Chemistry, Math require different things from students in terms of study.
2. Apply online: NIT Rourkela initially undertakes an online application procedure. Their admissions portal is located here. Therefore, create your account and specify you have been referred by 'International Women's Rights'. Select the M.Sc. if you are looking forward to applying for a program, the first thing you have to do is fill the application form, attach required documents in the form of desired picture identity card copies etc.
3. Pay application fee: Please pay the application fee through the payment gateway options on the portal using your wallet. The fee in unique terms is Rs. 1000 for General/ OBC categories.
4. Submit applications: Ascertain correctness of the smart application and tick all declarations to the NIT Rourkela masters application and subsequently submit the application. Kindly, make a printout of the filled in application particulars.
5. Send documents: Allow those who have submitted the application form to use the printed material, including the academic and other testimonials, to speed post or registered post it to the institute before the deadline.
6. Check admission offers: Acting as successful; you will be given an employment letter/email (either written one or electronic one) from NIT Rourkela. Make the admission fee deposit well before the due date to allow your admission.
