Discrepancy in the Admit Card for IIT JAM 2024?

- Check carefully all the details related to the admit card against your original registration details for the exam to make sure no discrepancies have occurred. Though you hould be familiar with all the above-mentioned details, it is still the best idea to recheck them.

- Proofread the essay by paying extra attention to details, and if there is any mistake, contact the organizing institute (one of the IITs in this case) immediately to get it rectified. There will be an email or a phone number posted in such situations to clear up any confusion or clarification. 

- In your message, let them know the exact difference and if possible, provide copies of copies of these documents as evidence. It could be a plain copy of your ID, for example, to correct the name discrepancy.

- Be sure to double check and correct any mistakes before the start of the exam to avoid any dispute with your exam center about the correct spelling of your name that they might find on your admit card. Most of the institutions should better prepare and re-issue the admit cards better corrected.

- Also if the problem of the printed admit card is not resolved on time, the printed admit card should be taken coupled with other ID proof to the examination hall on exam day. Have the staff at the center to authenticate you being the one taking the exam before you can duly start it.
