At DIT University the professors will have a minimum degree of master in the corresponding disciplines. The other requirement is learning where to find job opportunities located within the sphere of influence of your organization’s operations. Positions such as PhD and its equivalent are highly recommended, especially at the senior level.
A faculty team is formed by carefully selecting members who undergo a process of thorough evaluation in relation to their academic achievements, teaching experience, research background, and scholarly performance during interviews and presentations.
It is a question of the department, class level, and a faculty rank: it could be higher or lower level of teaching workload. Usually, professors are required to teach a particular number of classes per semester/academic year which, in turn, determine their salary, income and other benefits.
