The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a nation-wide common test which is conducted once every year and is aimed at candidates who seek to take admission into M.Pharm programmes being offered by pharmacy colleges in India. The exam is going to be the NTA’s domain. The GPAT test will check the pharmaceutical expertise of a candidate in the topics like pharmaceutics, pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, biotechnology, pharmaceutical analysis and much more.
The GPAT 2024 test will be conducted via online exam mode on February 18, 2023 which is a computer-based (CBT) test. During the exam, students will have multiple choice questions and the exam duration will be 3 hours. The GPAT score is acceptable in almost 850 pharmacy institution in India and is one of the filter criteria for admissions along with different factors. Immediately after the final exam, the NTA makes an announcement of the GPAT results on its website within the range of 4 weeks period. A candidate is provided with the section-wise scores as well as the overall score and all India ranks relevant with GPAT. GPAT Hall Ticket 2024 is likely to be floated in January 2024 and the test day may be in February 2024. It is likely that GPAT 2024 results would be released in the mid of the month of March in 2024. Post the declaration of results, the corresponding institutions then follow up with counseling and admissions procedures relative to the GPAT score for every candidate.
