The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a nation-wide common test which is conducted once every year and is aimed at candidates who seek to take admission into M.Pharm programmes being offered by pharmacy colleges in India. The exam is going to be the NTA’s domain. The GPAT test will check the pharmaceutical expertise of a candidate in the topics like pharmaceutics, pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, biotechnology, pharmaceutical analysis and much more.

The GPAT 2024 test will be conducted via online exam mode on February 18, 2023 which is a computer-based (CBT) test. During the exam, students will have multiple choice questions and the exam duration will be 3 hours. The GPAT score is acceptable in almost 850 pharmacy institution in India and is one of the filter criteria for admissions along with different factors.  Immediately after the final exam, the NTA makes an announcement of the GPAT results on its website within the range of 4 weeks period. A candidate is provided with the section-wise scores as well as the overall score and all India ranks relevant with GPAT. GPAT Hall Ticket 2024 is likely to be floated in January 2024 and the test day may be in February 2024. It is likely that GPAT 2024 results would be released in the mid of the month of March in 2024. Post the declaration of results, the corresponding institutions then follow up with counseling and admissions procedures relative to the GPAT score for every candidate.

GPAT Admit Card Date 2024

The GPAT 2024 Admit Card is expected to be released in May 2024. Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam can download their admit card from the official GPAT website - https://gpat.nta.nic.in/. The admit card will contain important information about the exam, including the exam date, time, venue, and candidate details. Candidates must bring a printed copy of their admit card to the exam center along with a valid photo ID.

GPAT Exam Day Guidelines 2024

- Getting at the campus with the original admit card together with an original (not photocopy) and valid photo identity proofs like Aadhaar card, driving license, etc.

- Please bring two  passport size pictures with you. Firstly, the candidate will be registered for the examination, while the second one will be kept for finalizing the results.

- Only bring with you your admit card, identity proof, and 2 photos or else they won’t be allowed inside the exam premises. Remember, you are to take with you no other items such as your mobile phone, wallet, watch, jewelry etc. as you will definitely not take them in.

Dress Code 

- Wear formal attire according to the instructions in the entrance ticket. If you have to put on something that has metal on it (a watch, a belt with a buckle, etc.), please avoid it to have a better experience with the magnetic field session.

Written Exam Guidelines

- But do pay attention to everything the invigilator says and always obey these instructions outside and inside the hall. Put up your hand if you are unclear with any points being made.
