In terms of courses of study, the University has over fifteen (15) undergraduate courses and about fourteen (14) post graduate programmes. The exam dates for admission to the session 2024-25 are as follows – KCET held in April 2023, COMEDK in May 2023, CUET for programmes such as BA/BSc in May-June 2023. For masters programs, the university holds entrance tests from July to August of the academic year 2023/24. It comprises of registration of the candidate after meeting the required eligibility standards, writing the relevant and suitable entrance test, counseling based on the ranks obtained and preferences of the candidate, submission of necessary documents and payment of fees. They are Merit-based through sophisticated entrance exams or Marks/Percentage in relevant qualifying exams. Presidency University Bangalore teaches its students Undergraduate and postgraduate courses in fields such as management, law, science, arts, commerce, engineering etc To apply for Presidency University Admission the student has to visit the official website of the university www.pumb.edu.in and apply online or else one can also obtain the application form and prospectus from the admission office of the university. 

The online application process includes a Basic personal details section, Program of choice, Scanned documents such as password, photograph, signature, certificates such as educational certificates etc., and payment of the application fee. Offline mode has separate sections where the candidates have to complete the form, attach copies of documents which are self-attested, and the form along with a demand draft should be submitted to the admin office latest by the mentioned date.

PU Bangalore BBA Admission 2024

1. The admissions are granted depending on students’ results in PESSAT, an entrance examination administered by the university. The type of work sample it provides includes quantitative skills, analytical skills, communication skills, and general knowledge.

2. The PESSAT exam is scheduled in the month of April-May every year for admission to the first year of the academic session commencing in August. Thus, for admissions in the session starting in 2024, the entrance exam is expected to be conducted around April-May, 2023.

3. Eligibility criteria for the BBA program: 12 th pass or equivalent examination with minimum 50% aggregate in 10+2 examination.

4. Under the category of undergraduate program, BBA is offered and there is no such requirement of age limit.

5. Apart from PESSAT scores, the admission criteria will also include the scores obtained in the 10+2 board exams. There are also management quota seats which are also a fixed percentage of the total intake of a college and the admission process and fee are different from the normal process.

6. It is also important to note that the application form for the PESSAT entrance examination is released as a rule, two or three months before the exam on the official website of PES University.

7. PU Bangalore BBA Selection Criteria

- Christ University Admission – The admission is taken purely based on the student’s performance in Christ University Entrance Test (CUET). Personal interview can also be considered. They also consider marks in 10+2 examinations also while selecting the candidates for admission into college.

- Jain University: JET stands for Jain Entrance Test through which students get admission in Jain University. The issued test scores in the 10+2 examinations, the general performance in co-curricular activities, and even an interview. 

- Mount Carmel College – The college gives admission to students by conducting an entrance examination of the college. Procedures for student selection include 10+2 performance, entrance test, and group interviews.

- St Joseph’s College of Commerce: Admission to the merit basis for the entrance test conducted by the college. Academic marks in the 10+2 examination conducted by the Indian Central Board of Secondary Education are also considered. 

- CMS Business School – Also known as Maharishi Dayanand University Rohtak, the admission criteria include academic achievement and a common aptitude test administered in the college. Other means include group discussion and personal interviews because this is the best way in selecting the most appropriate candidates for the job.

PU Bangalore BBA How To Apply?

1. Either check the PES University admissions website or visit the campus. For more details visit the official website of the college at pes.edu.

2. Navigate to the Human Resources section of the website and look for a link that says “Apply Now”. After clicking on this link, choose BBA as the program of your choice.

3. Register for an online account and complete the online application form. Current details like personal information, academic information etc. will be required by you.

4. Upload documents scanned as PDF such as 10th and 12th mark-sheet, ID proof etc as specified.

5. To complete the process, pay the application fee online, which should be roughly Rs. 1,000. 

6. The applicant should also retain photocopy of the completed application for future purpose.

7. Once you are accepted for an application you will be required to take a group discussion and interview. 

8. If you are fortunate enough to be offered a place, then accept your offer by making the required fee payment and secure your place.

- However, performance in 10+2 examination, in addition to the KCET scores, may be taken into consideration for granting admission to the university. General category students must obtain a minimum of 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together.

- Application process begins in April – May 2024 for academic intake of 2024-2028. More information about the application process, deadlines and requirements will be provided in the early spring on the university’s website.

- It also has Karnataka, NRI/OCI/PIO and management quota separately for each of the applications. The management also provide some of the seats under lateral entry scheme for diploma holder students.

PU Bangalore B.Tech Selection Criteria

- Candidates seeking admission must secure high ranks in the Karnataka CET exam and good marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of 12th standard.

- For CET, one must have passed Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and must have obtained a minimum of 45% in the sum of the marks scored in the three subjects.

- In 12th exams, the minimum requirement is an aggregate of 45 % for PCM subject combination.

- For B.Tech admissions at Presidency University, students have to fulfill certain eligibility criteria like CET percentiles and ranks to attend the counseling session for seat allotment. Cutoffs vary each year.

- While in the counseling, one gets assigned his/her seats depending on his/ her CET ranks, preferred subject stream, category etc. 

- If the candidates with CET qualification are not available, admissions can be taken based on the percentage of marks they secured in PCM in 12th standard and their performance in the test and interview conducted by the University.

1. Check Eligibility

You should satisfy basic requirements such as the qualifying examination scores, etc., and you should at least be a science stream passed out from the 12th grade.

2. Application Form

In most universities, the application form is available online through the university’s website or admission portal. Complete it slowly and thoroughly, putting all the academic, personal, and contact information.

3. Upload Documents 

At the time of filling the application, scan all the necessary documents to be uploaded with the application such as photographs, identity proof, age proof, marksheets of 10th and 12th etc.

4. Pay Application Fee

Make the remittance for the application and processing fee through the available methods such as credit card, debit card, internet banking etc. retain the payment challan.

5. Submit Form

Recheck all the details mentioned, all the enclosures and the position of the payments and finally ensure you are signing the completed application form before the deadline online only. Some of the changes I made include printing out the final copy.

6. Entrance Test 

You should attend any entrance tests and interviews in any of the university levels that you may be required to sit in. While applying for the examination one must check the date of examination and the center etc.

7. Check Results

Make sure to check the list of final merit and the counseling schedule on the university’s website if you have been selected. Undergo counseling at the agreed frequency provided.

8. Admission & Enrollment

When you get the seat, they will tell you the amount you need to pay as full fees (or installment) for confirmation and other registration procedures in the college to which you have been allotted.

PU Bangalore MBA Admission 2024

- Presidency University Bengaluru conducts MBA full time course which is of 2 Years duration and is approved by AICTE.

- Applicants who meet the following prerequisite conditions are eligible to apply for MBA: The candidate should be a holder of a recognized university Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

- The steps of assessment are usually entrance test which is administered by the university, group discussion and the final interview.

- The entrance examination is expected to take place in April / May 2024 for admission in the 2024-26 intake. It is normally printed on the university website, nearer to the examination date.

- It is recommended to check the schedule for applications, which is generally in February-March 2024, for the entrance examination and admissions. Candidates have to complete and submit on-line application forms within prescribed time schedule. 

- There could be an overall of from 60 to 120 MBA seats based on the different specializations offered. These may include areas such as Marketing, Finance and Accounts, Human resource, Production and operations etc.

1. Navigate to the Presidency University Bangalore official website using the address Presidency University Bangalore official website: www.presidency.edu.in.

2. Visit the ‘Admissions’ tab on the website and thereafter click on the MBA link that reads ‘Apply Now’.

3. You will be linked to the registration form. Now, enter all your personal information such as your name, date of birth, phone number, email, etc., and send it.

4. You will get the login details of any application portal through the email id and the registered mobile number.

5. Applicants are expected to login into the system and enter all the details online, submit the required documents and pay the application form fee online.

6. The documents needed are 10th and 12th standard passing certificates, graduation and degree certificate, entrance exam scores (if any), experience certificate, etc. 

7. At the end of the application, click on the ‘Submit Application’ button and also, download a copy of the application for further purposes.

8. Pat the university for the announcement of cut-offs and merit lists. If you are selected in the shortlist, you will have to appear for further process, which is Group Discussion, Personal Interview, etc.

- They are expecting that the admissions would be in May-June 2024 for the academic period of 2024-2027.

- For admission you should have minimum 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent in any stream (45% for SC/ST) from a recognized board.

- Admission into Presidency University will be on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the Presidency Entrance Test (PET) conducted by the University along with the scores in the 12th standard. There would be following sections in the PET: quantitative ability, analytical ability and language skills. 

- You can apply online on the admission portal once it opens through the University’s online portal. The application cost shall be stated at the web site.

- The candidates who have made it to the final list of aspiring candidates will be invited to the counselling and personal interview session before the final list of admitted candidates is compiled.

- Overall the annual fee for B.Com course may range between ? 1.25 – 1.5 lakhs which includes the fees for tuition, examination and other charges.

PU Bangalore B.Com Selection Criteria

- The PET exam is the test of general intelligence, numerical reasoning and ability, logical capability and ability to read English. The assessment is done on the basis of the scores a candidate obtains in the PET examination.

- Furthermore, their eligibility is judged based on their performance in 10+2 or any equivalent examination. Priority is given to the percentage secured in the 10+2 examinations and the weightage factor is also provided to the percentage secured in the exams.

- Candidates belonging to the reserved category for SC/ST and OBC categories, there are certain concessions given in the PET exam by way of eligibility standards and qualifying cut-off marks.

- Besides PET scores and past academic performance, it is possible that candidates are also advised to take a personal interview test before being recruited. 

- There are merit lists which include the result of PET, and other requirements for the candidates in the university. It has been developed on merit basis, availability of seats and candidates who fulfill the requirements of the course.
