Jagannath University, Jaipur is a private university located in Jaipur at Rajasthan. Its inception in 2008 has allowed its progress as one of the most reputable universities in Rajasthan with courses in engineering, management, science, education, and law, etc.

The university provides a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level courses within disciplines such as science, social sciences and law. Diverse disciplines that are taught at Jagannath University are for example BTech (Computer Science Engineering), MBA (Marketing), Bsc (Biotechnology), BEd and LLB among others. The enrollment procedure for the undergraduate courses is mostly initiated in April from the very next year. For the MA classes, the period of admission begins in June every year. The university may hold its own entrance exam but other programs may allow seat for students scoring high marks in national exam. The first day of our fall semester is Thursday, the 1st of August.

- Applications Open: Jagannath University usualy announces the  July/August undergraduate and postgraduate admission period  in April/May every year. The deadline for submitting the application is in few weeks to come.

- Admission Test: Normally,  most undergraduate and  many postgraduate programs demand the test at Admissions  which is known as the university entrance examination. These tests are like the third step of the competition. They cover subject areas and normally run in June or July. Students will note that it is necessary to complete registration for the entrance test.

- Publication of Merit Lists: The admission test scores are used by the university to provide lists of the selected students who are eligible to join all different departments in July / August. Selected students meet the minimum requirement criteria, but they might be familiar with the application process. Once seats are filled, the authorities may create another merit list or announce the closing of the admission round.

- Admission Confirmation: Students would find out their names on the list of merit later on also. Then they would have to complete the online as well as offline confirmation process within the given deadline. There are paperwork that should be completed; this is comprised of document verification, eligibility checking, and payment of admission fees.

- Enrollment: The last step is referred to as registration and it includes submitting the documents, getting the university ID and completing other formalities which will in return, guarantee the student's admission. Mostly schesduled in August, after the end of summer break and before the commencing of a new academic year in September.
