I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) is well-known, among technical and professional education universities in North India. Established in 1997, IKGPTU today has almost 175 affiliates from the state of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh. The university gives diplomas, bachelors and postgraduate programms in engineering, pharmacy, architecture and management among others. One of the most chosen programs at IKGPTU is B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, another is BBA in Business Administration. The main course of BTech CSE involves subjects like programming languages, data structures, operating systems and algorithm design. The BBA program teaches students management topics including accounting, creation marking, personnel, and finance. The semester-end exams for odd semesters is held in October-November and even semesters exams are held in April-May every year in a yichar way. Admission for this year will begin in May 2023. Students shall have to appear for the state or national level entrance tests like JEE Main, GATE and so on. - IKGPTU offers numerous undergraduate and postgraduate programs across various disciplines like engineering, pharmacy, architecture, etc.

- For admission to most programs, candidates have to appear for state or national level entrance exams like JEE Main, GATE, NATA etc. Based on the scores/ranks in these exams, they can apply for admission.

- The university has a centralized online counselling and admission procedure for BTech programs based on JEE Main scores through its own counselling portal.

- For MTech programs, admissions are based on GATE/PGECET scores as well as performance in the subsequent counselling process including choices filled, availability of seats, etc.

- For other programs, students may have to apply separately to the concerned department/college and go through that admission process based on merit, entrance tests or interviews.

- In addition to entrance exam scores, eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification marks, age limit etc may also apply for specific programs.

1. University’s website provides you with the admission/application section. Go and check it. Go online and search for the details of the schemes you want to enroll for and their prerequisites.

2. Browse through the application process once you have chosen the programs you would like to apply and gather information including the required procedures and deadlines. Online applications are common and frequently submitted digitally.

3. Pick up the app form, and fill it out attentively, providing all necessary data - personal data, academic scores, etc. Please make sure you completed it adequately.

4. File together application form and required documents. These are usually the requirements for passing on the 10th and 12th exams along with any marksheet for graduation if not taken such category or domicile certificates in case of reservations etc.
