Maharshi Dayanand University, which is a state university in Rohtak, Haryana, India, is called our university. It was start in 1976. It is now called after famous social reformer and philosopher Maharshi Dayanand. MDU campus is wide spread over with 38 departments and courses are offering at UG, PG, and doctorate level.
BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and MBA (MBA) in Marketing are the two primary programs offered at MDU. The 4-year in degree program in BTech CSE focuses more on subjects like programming, algorithms, database management, and software engineering. The Marketing Management track of this 24-month MBA program starts by introducing necessary marketing foundations, continues into consumer behavior, marketing orientations, promotion techniques, sales management and other topics.

Maharshi Dayanand University Eligibility Criteria 2024
For Undergraduate (UG) programs:
- 10+2 or equivalent examination pass from a recognized board/university
- Minimum marks percentage varies across different programs. Usually it's around 50-60% for general category.
For Postgraduate (PG) programs:
- Relevant UG degree in the same or allied subject from a recognized university
- Minimum 50-55% aggregate marks at UG level for general category
For MPhil and PhD:
- Master's degree in the relevant subject with minimum 55% marks

Maharshi Dayanand University Admission Process 2024
- MDU conducts its own entrance exam called MDUET to screen candidates for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Candidates have to apply and appear for the relevant MDUET exam.
- For some courses, admissions are based on merit in the last qualifying exam. For example, for admission to BA, BCom, BSc courses, class 12th marks are considered.
- An application form needs to be filled by interested candidates within the stipulated timelines. This is done online on the university's admission portal.
- Different cut-offs are announced for different courses under various categories. Candidates have to meet the cut-off criteria to be eligible.
- Once shortlisted based on MDUET ranks/merit scores, candidates have to participate in the counseling process for final seat allocation. Counseling is held in offline mode by departmetns.
