HSTES or Haryana State Technical Education Society is the exam regulated by the Haryana government for the purpose of admission into the diploma courses of engineering as well as non-engineering courses from the polytechnic institutes affiliated to the Haryana State Board of Technical Education. The aim of this screening process is to select potential diploma students, a huge number in disciplines such as civil engineering, computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering, automobile engineering and many others. 

HSTES question paper include multiple choice questions from physics, chemistry, maths, and aptitude tests. There were more than 1.5 lack of students participated to the exam that was held in July offline while the centers were different in haryana. A month later the result was published on the official website - hstes.org.in. The admission process comprised the screening of applicants via counseling sessions for the allotment of seats and the submission of verified documents before they were offered admission.

In the tentative dates, HSTES 2024 is expected to be conducted during the month of June-July 2024, and it will be for the academic session 2024-25. One can just apply the test as early as after two to three months before the exam date. The applicant count, exam program schedule, and results information for 2024 will be updated on the official website and counseling calendar of  HSTES in short order.
