Jawaharlal Nehru University Combined Entrance Examination for Biotechnology

The JNU CEEB exam assesses the capability of the candidates with respect to the biotechnology area. It aims to find out how an applicant copes with practical, scientific and critical thinking. The computer-based test has 100 multiple – choice questions, which should be answered within a 2 hour period. Questions are designed from subjects from a subject base in chemistry, biology, physics, and mathematics, in a way that is relevant to biotechnology. The system contains the negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect the response 

As far as JNU CEEB 2024 is concerned, the candidates will see the official notification in December 2023. Probably, the exam dates will be from the second to the third week of May next year, that is, in the year of 2024. Findings will be published online at JNU official website by the last week of May or early June of 2024. Only shortlisted students will have to come for an interview which is closely on the heels of the submission date of the online application form in June-July 2024 for final admission process. Starting with the Academic Programme of July 2024, the new batch will join.

JNU CEEB Reservation of Seats 2024

The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) reserves seats for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in its postgraduate and Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) programmes. The reservation of seats for these categories is as follows:

Documents Required for JNU CEEB Exam Registration 2024

- Applying form: The candidate should be filled online when the application form is made available on JNU website.

- Proof of age/year of birth - habitually class 10th certificate or marksheet.

- Self-attestation form - Class 12 mark sheet and passing certificate. Submit copies of the Graduation marksheets if you inky have worked as a graduate. Students studying distance education or attend full-time courses spread across different semesters may tend to lose sight of their long-term academic goals. Having a clear and specific plan in place can help students stay motivated and on track towards their degree completion.

- Category certificate (if required) - SC/ST/OBC/PWD certificate by valid authority (if required). 

- Migration certificate (if necessary) - Needed for applicants who passed examination after graduation from one university other than JNU.
