- Candidates only may apply for any of the courses if they hold a law degree (LLB) or a comparable law degree that is accredited by the Bar Council of India.
- They should have got a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) awarded during their 3-year Law graduation.
- Besides, candidates who are in their last year of LLB exam can also apply, their admission is only provisional, the minimum marks criteria has to be met or else the provisional status will be revoked.
- Candidates must provide original copies and photocopies of their certificates, transcript of marks, CV and the motivation letter.
- They need to joggle a panel interview organized by the admission committee in their prospective universities. Aptitude, interests, academic capability and all round eligibility of applicants are gauged by the interview. This is a seminal component in selecting students for the LLM program.
- The candidacy of people who already worked for some time in the legal fields and publications, will be taken into account during the selection process as well. Camp and internship which are relevant are also of a great help. Therefore, the students must come across essential knowledge during such camp and internship.
- The candidates are selected through an integrated criteria, which is based on a composite scale across academic results, interview process, achievements in academics and in the professional field as well as the statement of purpose.
