Unversity Entrance test called UPESMET is conducted by University of Petroleum and Energy Studiesfor taking admission in various programmes of management like: BBA, B.Com(Hons), B.A Economics, BBA specialising in Logistics & Supply Chain Management and Integrated MBA. It is a kind of online or computer based test (CBT) which allows students to test their knowledge on all these areas like quantitative aptitude, general awareness, verbal ability, data interpretation and logical reasoning. The exam is of 2 hours’ duration and is divided into 100 multiple choice questions every one being worth a mark.

The UPESMET exam is there to test the candidate’s aptitude for pursuing studies in management and business. One can say that it is in the top league of the entrance tests for management schools in the country. For UPESMET in 2024, it is anticipated that the announcement would be made in October 2023 and would be made both on the website of the official body as well the national newspapers. Online application process which is from November  2023 and begins. The forum has not yet announced UPESMET dates which shall be tentatively in the first week of May 2024. The results would be ascertained last week in May, 2024 on the official website. Selected applicants would have to go through the group discussion type scenario and personal interview after which the final merit list is prepared.

Documents Required for UPESMET Exam Registration 2024

1. Class 10th Marksheet & Passing Certificate: Originals copies of your 10th marksheet and passing certificate will the be ask for in order to ascertain age/date of birth.

2. Class 12th Marksheet: Marksheet of your 12th class by scanning machine. (If result has been declared.) However, if you delay, you will not be able to present the desired outcome for the panel.

3. Upload Photo: The applicant must submit a passport size color photo as the last document. Make sure that the logo as per the specifications approved by UPES.

4. Government Issued Photo ID Proof: Scanned pictures of a photo ID proof like Aadhaar card, voter ID or driving licenses etc. 

5. Caste Certificate: If you have reserved category for admission, you must upload the respective certificate of caste.

6. UPESMET Application Fee Payment Proof: Snapshot/scan of copy of application fee payment receipt. Applicants can pay the percentage by using credit/debit card, net banking, etc., online.
