- The admissions to the UG technical program of B.Tech is from the national level engineering entrance exam such as JEE Main or UPES-DAT. Aspirants have to score at least 45% weightage in both subjects remaining in the aggregate (40% for the candidates belonging to SC/ST) in 10+2 or equivalent exam.
- One must submit a valid JEE Mains score while applying for admission via JEE Mains. To find out JEE Mains merit-based admissions' cut-offs for different branches, one should perform the analysis of data about all qualifying segments.
- While entering in the university by UPES-DAT, a university level exam is in effect. It caters to questions in physics, chemistry and mathematics. UPES-DAT cut-offs for different streams of specialization vary, as witnessed in their UPES-DAT merit ranks.
- Besides, there is a possibility to get an admission on a direct basis not only through sucessfully passing JEE Mains or UPES-DAT but also through 10+2/equivalent scores for particular seats. The cut-off mark for 60% and 55% for SC/ST shall be considered.

4. Submit documents required which are including recent photograph, signatures, mark sheets/certificates etc. as per the specifications.
5. The fee payment process will be conducted online (credit card, debit card , net banking and other modes of payment).
6. Submit a filled-in UPES B.Tech application form for review. The accuracy of all facts is crucial.
