JGU Sonepat Admission 2024

O.P Jindal’s Multi-disciplinary university situated in Sonepat, Haryana focuses on the provision of various Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs across 9 schools namely; The Jindal Global law school, The Jindal Global Business school, The Jindal School of international affairs, The Jindal School of government and public policy, The Jindal School of Liberal arts & humanities, The Jindal School of Journalism The admission requirements differ according to the program – to enter BA programs, applicants must be 10+2 pass in a relevant stream, for BBA/B.For its B.com programme it is 10+2 pass with minimum 50% aggregate for the integrated law programmes it is 10+2 pass with minimum 45% aggregate. Accepted tests are CLAT,LSAT, JEE Main, SAT. Some of them are B.A. (Hons) Economics accepts only SAT, JEE Main and CLAT, whereas 5-year integrated BBALLB programme accepts only CLAT. 


The registration for the course commencing from the academic year 2024 at JGU is likely to be started around October 2023. Some of these important dates are – CLAT 2024 examination is going to be held on May 19th 2024, LSAT India 2024 is scheduled in the month of June 2024 and as for the entrance test conducted by the university itself, the dates are yet awaited. Students can apply once the application link is activated by entering to the filled form, uploading documents, applying fees and respectively entrance test. It is taken and marked out of 100% and admissions are offered based on the University cut off marks. Another form of selection is also a face-to-face interview for some programs, apart from the above mentioned. Programs include undergraduate and postgraduate courses of various streams, such as - BA, BBA, LLB, B.Des, MA, MBA, LLM - and all of them have their unique requirements, tests, and admission process.

JGU Sonepat Application Process 2024

The University of Sonepat namely O.P Jindal Global University has a clearly defined admission process for the various course it offers in its undergraduate and postgraduate levels. There are two ways through which they can apply for admission; through the online system or through a paper-based system. 


The admission form can be downloaded through the website of the college at www.jgls.edu.in where the application form for online application is provided. To apply online, please go to the ‘Admissions’ area of the site and select ‘Apply Now.’ Enter your personal information, complete the application questionnaire, and submit such documents as may be necessary depending on the chosen program. Application fees can be remitted by Internet Banking or Debit/ Credit Cards. 


For the offline option, you have to buy the prospectus and the application form from the university on payment of the prescribed fee. Complete the admission application form with the required attachments and hand it in at the admission office at the appropriate campus. Students are selected on the merit of the course with respect to class 12th marks, entrance test, interview etc for each program of the university Every year, the university provides scholarships to students on the basis of merit. JGU Sonepat BA Admission 2024

- Sonepat is in the National Capital Region of Delhi and it is a part of JGU (Jindal Global University). It has several schools such as the school of law, school of business, school of international affairs, etc.

- Most of the programs in JGU does have the entrance exam those are LSAT-India for law, CAT/MAT for MBA or JGU entrance exam. There may also be other factors such as academic performance, statement of purpose, interviews, etc.

1. 10+2 ya equivalent examination mein 60% ya usse zyada koi bhi aggregate mark hona chahiye. It means for SC/ST category 55% marks are required.

2. JGU mein vishleshtvyapak ko avashyak karna hota hain jiskaa arth hai ki vishleshtvyapak JGU Entrance Test (JET) mein hissa lena padega. Jo bhi sections hai Isme General Knowledge, Aptitude, English Proficiency jaise sections hoti hai.

3. Marks obtained in 12th ke and JET performance se merit list prepared kiya jaata hai aur iss ko kal Kare se selection hota hai. 

4. Even interview bhi liya ja sakta hai for selection but this is conducted at the final stage of the selection process.  

5. There is no special requirement for the subjects in 10+2 ke. Students of any stream can apply for it.

6. BA Honours program mein arts stream mein apply karna achcha hai magar commerce ya science branch mein se bhi students apply kar sakte hain.

7. For admitting to the BA program, a candidate should be at least 17 years of age.

JGU Sonepat MBA Admission 2024

- There are usually early intakes in September and main intakes in January/February for the next academic session that begins in July/August.

- The criteria for admission encompass CAT/MAT/CMAT percentages along with academic achievements, work experience, performance in the personal interview etc. 

- JGU offers MBA programme and MBA programme of which one is full time and the other is a part time programme. The full-time program takes two years while the part time Executive MBA program takes three Calendar years to complete.

- In the case of the batch beginning from 2024, the application will most probably be released at the beginning of 2024. All the candidates who appear for the above examinations shall be shortlisted for the Personal Interview rounds which will be conducted at the JGU Sonepat campus between February to May 2024.

- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks in each of the papers. Provision of relaxation for the applicants of SC/ST categories or for those who have prior work experience.

- The candidates have to have a valid CAT/MAT/JGU-administered test score, as mentioned before. Other standardised tests include CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT, etc., which are recognised by the university.

JGU Sonepat MBA How To Apply?

1. MBA is offered at JGU, so visit the university’s website and on the admission tab look for the MBA program. There should be a clickable Apply Now button.

2. Step 1: Go to the website and make a new account then give the necessary information in the application form. The information required may include personal information /achieve ment scores, working experience etc.

3. Upload scanned copy of all required documents such as the bachelor’s degree certificate, grade/mark sheets, entrance test scores if any, work experience letters etc. 

4. Complete the payments of the fees that are charged for the application online. Application fees are coming around 1200 for each application.

5. Complete the MBA application form and attach necessary documents before the corresponding deadline. The admission intake is usually in August and the deadlines are in May-June.

6. If your application for the desired position has been approved, the candidate has to face the group discussion and personal interview sessions conducted at JIIT JAGSOM University Gurugram, Haryana Sonepat Campus. 

7. The final admission offer from JGU will include the GD and PI results followed by a final offer along with details of fees payment.

8. Pay the fees and any other charges that are required to finalize the admission process when you are certain of your decision.


JGU Sonepat B.Arch Admission 2024

- JGU Sonepat may start the admission process for the B.Arch in the 2024 batch in the end of 2023 or in early 2024. The specific admissions calendar and the dates for admissions vary and the general information is posted on the universities website 6-12 months before the start of admission.

- They are likely to be given based on the marks secured in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) that is conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA). Candidates need to qualify the marks fixed by JGU in NATA scores and also meet the eligibility criteria given below.

- Also the candidates should have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with math as a subject, and minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

- There are also some concessions in terms of minimum passing percentage in the concerned examination for SC/ST candidates. For SC/ST candidates the minimum percentage required is 45 percent and for the PwD category it is 40 percent.
